Learning in Natural Sciences and the Environment
Educators in primary, secondary, and tertiary education in the Natural Sciences require research training. This doctoral program aims to develop researchers in the field of Learning in Natural Sciences who combine essential knowledge from Natural Sciences, Cognitive Psychology, and Research Methodology, to produce data that will support the ongoing advancement of the Teaching of Natural Sciences.
The general purpose of the program is the comprehensive education of researchers in Learning in Natural Sciences. Participants in the program will acquire skills in basic and applied research, develop strategies for evaluating and reforming educational policy and gain the ability to critically analyze contemporary perceptions in the field of Learning in Natural Sciences and their evolution.
