Research Programs

Our team undertook the organization of the 13th European Researchers in Didactics of Biology (ERIDOB) Conference, which took place from August 29th to September 2nd, 2022, at the University of Cyprus. The conference brought together more than 180 participants from 21 countries, who had the opportunity to share their research findings and discuss issues related to Biology education during 29 sessions and symposiaSpecifically, presentations were held on methodologies and practices of teaching and learning both inside and outside the classroom, the role of language in Biology teaching, the use of educational technology in teaching and learning, the education and professional training of Biology teachers, the development of critical thinking and argumentation skills through Biology education, and many other fascinating and engaging topics.The 13th European Researchers in Didactics of Biology (ERIDOB) Conference was honored by the presence of the Rector of the University of Cyprus, Dr. Tasos Christofides, who officially opened the conference proceedings. The keynote speakers of the conference included the following distinguished academics: Dr. Catherine Bruguière (University of Lyon), Dr. Denise Orange Ravachol (University of Lille), and Dr. Zacharias Zacharia (Chair of the Department of Education, University of Cyprus).
